Burnham acknowledged that "it would be a tougher argument for Dr. Eastman, for sure."

Donald Trump left Atlantaafter deliveryin Fulton County Jail on more than a dozen counts stemming from his efforts to overturn Georgia's 2020 election results, the fourth time this year the former president has faced criminal charges.

In total, the former president was in Atlanta for more than an hour and a half.

"I didn't do anything wrong," Trump told reporters before boarding the plane.

Trump has called the criminal case against him a "farce of justice".

Later on Thursday, he told the right-wing Newsmax network that being in the Fulton County Jail was "a terrible experience".

“I came in, they treated me really well,” he said of his experience as a substitute. "It is what it is. I got a mug, but I've never heard the words mug."

Prison records show the former president was taken into custody and arrested at the Fulton County Jail on Thursday night.

Held as prisoner number P01135809.

The arrest record shows that Trump is 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. She would have blue eyes and blonde or strawberry hair.

About 100 Donald Trump supporters slowly left the Fulton County jail in their cars and on foot following news that the former president had left the area following his surrender.

While they didn't see Trump's entourage arrive through the main entrance, several supporters told CNN they were glad they showed up but upset they didn't see him.

"I'm disappointed," said Bob Kunst, a Trump supporter who also traveled to protest Trump's court proceedings in Florida.

Kunst said he wanted the "satisfaction" of seeing Trump arrive "for people who come from all over the country".

A caravan of supporters held signs to their car windows as they left the prison and the car park was slowly emptying as police vehicles also left their positions outside the prison.

There were also a small number of anti-Trump protesters who carried their own signs outside the prison, calling for Trump's arrest.
